Founded in 2010 as a global online community connecting Haitians and members of the Haitian diaspora around the world.
The platform grew to an email audience exceeding 13,000 subscribers, and gave rise to cultural initiatives including the global Fly A Haitian Kite Day program. It was relaunched in 2025.
What interested me wasn't the numbers. It was what happened when people who shared an identity, history or interest were given a place to find one another.
The origin of nearly everything that followed in this part of the portfolio — Kite Wars, the Haitian Diaspora Leadership Summit, and the community thinking behind Timl.
Continuing to grow following the 2025 relaunch, with a path toward becoming a Timl-powered community.
